Sean Combs, better known as Diddy, was arrested in New York on September 16, 2024, on charges of sexual assault, including sex trafficking. This arrest has brought to light a 1999 interview where Diddy predicted his own arrest, acknowledging his penchant for wild parties that often attracted police attention.

In the interview with Entertainment Tonight, Diddy stated, “You’ll hear about my parties, and they [the police] will break them up.” He continued, “They might even arrest me [because] I do crazy things just because we’re having fun.”

The rapper, known for his close friendship with Usher, revealed that he was not allowed to throw parties anymore. “They don’t want me throwing parties anymore. But we’re not gonna stop, we’re gonna keep having fun. Bringing people together from all walks of life,” he said.

Diddy explained his motivation for hosting these parties, claiming it was about bridging racial and generational divides. “It doesn’t make me feel like a better person. It makes me feel like a party person,” he stated.

The current indictment against Diddy alleges that he engaged in sexual assault over a period of years. Multiple women have come forward, claiming they were victims of his repeated and often-recorded sexual abuse. Prosecutors allege that Diddy frequently drugged his victims to make them compliant.

The indictment also accuses Diddy of using his corporate entities, collectively known as Combs Business, as a front for his criminal activities. He allegedly used his employees to facilitate his actions.

Upon his arrest, police seized evidence including drugs, firearms, ammunition, and over a thousand bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn pending trial. He is also under suicide watch, a precautionary measure for inmates deemed at risk of self-harm.

Diddy’s attorney maintains that his client is strong, healthy, and focused on his defense. He claims Diddy is committed to fighting for his innocence and has full confidence in his legal team.

This arrest and the resurfaced interview provide a glimpse into Diddy’s past and present. While he once celebrated his wild parties, he now faces serious accusations that could significantly impact his future. The legal proceedings are ongoing, and the truth of the allegations will be determined in court. (Red)
